Can I copy and paste information from Word (or other programs) onto the forms?

Yes, but ANY information pasted onto the forms in GFS should only be in Rich Text Format (RTF) or plain text (TXT). By copying and pasting directly from Word (not in RTF) you may inadvertently be placing hidden control characters into the fields which the GFS program does not understand and can cause unknown behavior.  RTF formatted information should appear indentical in both programs, if it does not, you'll know you may have a probelm. Quick Fix: If you suspect your GFS form may have problems stemming from this situation use the Strip Formatting command on the Format menu (or right-click on the form itself while holding down the Ctrl key and select Font).
